The premise of the video is that if you think and wish for something you will receive it.
The book is along the same lines but goes a bit deeper as does the book "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill.
At the end of this post you will be provided links where you can watch "The Secret" for free and also the links to the two books mentioned that you can download. Both for "free".
Now my thoughts on thinking, wishing and getting what you want.
If it was only so simple, we would all have everything we want. We would all be rich, healthy, beautiful and never have to work another day in our lives.
But this is not the reality. The truth behind the video and books is buried within all of us.
Yes, we can be rich, healthy and beautiful. Not just by wishing and thinking about it.
We have to take action! Yes we do have to think and wish, but you also must take action to achieve your desires.
The video and books guide you to that and try to point that out.
Napoleon Hill states "That whatever the mind of man can conceive, he can achieve".
The point is, is to get off our duffs and start putting your thoughts, dreams and wishes into action.
Form a plan of attack, set your goals and work towards the end means. All the self improvement books, videos and daydreaming will not accomplish anything, unless you put it into motion.
To be facetious for a moment.
If you are dreaming of winning the lotto, get up and go buy a ticket. You can't win if you don't play.
So does the video and the books have any foundation on which to stand?
Yes, if we each take "action" on our dreams.
Our minds can create a burning desire for riches, but if we do not use our minds, we will pay the penalty, the penalty of failure.
